Our Story
The journey.
We are both so fortunate to have lived here in Dorset for the biggest part of our lives. A Magical childhood of countryside walks, secret hideaways, Days spent on the beach and evenings round a campfire. Most of all as children we enjoyed the freedom of this Beautiful place. As adults Dorset gave us, wonderful outdoor adventures, from cycling to sailing, walks with our doggie friends to paddle boarding and Beach Barbeques. Not to mention the discovery of some incredible restaurants and cozy country pubs.
We decided to share it. We wanted to create those memories for all of our guests. A place where dreams are made and love conquers all. After years of hard work, blood sweat and tears Houghton Lodge and Downview Farm were born.
